i do not like the comments system right now. i think it is because blogger recently had some sort of update, although all that really seems to have changed is the way it looks. nonetheless, i think it has fubared the comments up pretty good. they still work, they just don't accurately represent how many comments have been made, but you're proably figured that out already. i did manage to get them to say 19 instead of 0 for the most recent posts, but if that helped anything else, we have yet to see.

ok, actually i didn't. my life is a hideous montage of humiliation and SHAME.

edit: OK, they're working again now. a few posts will still have tweaked values (i.e., zero) but new comment do show up. joy!

i have developed what i believe may well be an unhealthy obsession.

i completed my first day at work yesterday. i ended up getting paid $6.90 and hour to do alot of standing around, but it was still good. i learned how to take tickets (yes, there's really not much to it), check thatres, clean the popcorn popper, where the ice is, and all sorts of other handy bits of information. i haven't learned how to sell tickets or concessions, but that's OK because i'm not really that excited about selling concessions anyway. good, and also sort of fun, overall. and i get paid for it. i'm leaving for my second job in a bit here. i supose i second job might seem a bit...i donno...overmuch, but i didn't really have a job last summer or the one previous to that, or really ever before, so i figure i'm just making up for lost time.
